Adaptation of Gram'ma Long's recipe
3 cans (6 ounces each) tuna or chicken, chunk style
1 container (9ounces) shoestring potatoes
1-2/3 cup milk
1 can (10-3/4 ounces cream of mushroom soup
2/3 cups shredded cheese (plus more for topping)
1 teaspoon Lawry's Seasoning Salt
4 ounces diced green chiles-optional
1-1/2 tablespoons minced onion
- Dump all ingredients into a greased (I never grease it) 2 quart casserole dish and mix.
- Sprinkle top with additional shredded cheese.
- Bake in moderate oven(375) about 35-45 minutes.
